From the Winemaker
"I've learned to never pick by the numbers, always by flavor. Chardonnay grapes taste like the wine they will become. Some areas are apple, others honey and pear. It's the combination of all these flavors that make our Sonoma County Chardonnay so fresh and complex." -Jennifer Higgins
The 2015 Chardonnay hails from our estate Chambers Vineyard located in the Mayacama foothills east of Santa Rosa. This beautiful wine opens with bright pear, florals and subtle minerality. On the palate, lemon notes and apple-butter shine through. Cool spring temperatures and low yields allowed us to craft a clean and refined wine that sets this vintage apart. Delicious in its youth this Chardonnay will only get better with extended aging in the cellar.
