2017 Zinfandel, Winery Ranch
From the Winemaker
Our 2016 Winery Ranch Zinfandel opens with a burst of blackberry pie, blue raspberry, and freshly grated nutmeg. The great news is that these delicious aromas are all found on the palate too. In addition, you will find sarsaparilla and allspice, black pepper, and plenty more dark berry flavors. The tannins are delicate, the acid is juicy and the wine is beautifully balanced.
As the name suggests, the grapes are grown literally a stone's throw from our front door. The Winery Ranch Zinfandel will pair with anything you throw on the grill this summer so call your friends over for a spontaneous backyard barbecue and enjoy.
Quote: As a new wine for us, the Winery Ranch Zinfandel is a deeper, darker, and spicier style of Lambert Bridge Zin. We use a heathy dose of our Petite Sirah to amplify the blackberry and dark spice notes while still keeping true to our winemaking style.
